2026 Scholarship Details:
​
Applications for the 2026 KV Foundation for Mental Health Scholarships will open in February 2026. Two scholarships of $2,500 each will be awarded to exceptional graduate students pursuing master's degrees in mental health or related fields. 
​
Important Dates

Application Opens: February 2, 2026
Application Deadline: March 13, 2026
Recipients Announced: April 21, 2026
Scholarships Awarded: Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Mental Health Awareness Night at Yard Goats Stadium, Hartford, CT

Eligibility Requirements
​
Enrolled or accepted into a master's program related to mental health
Minimum GPA of 3.0
One letter of recommendation from a professor or licensed mental health professional
Completion of the KV Foundation Contact Info & Short Bio Form
​
Essay Requirement (300 - 500 words)
​
Discuss a personal or observed experience that highlights the importance of mental health awareness and well-being. How has this experience shaped your perspective, and how do you plan to advocate for, or support, mental health in your future career?
